PTL Enterprises Ltd., was incorporated as a company in 1959. The tyres manufacturing facility of PTL at Kalamassery, Kerala, was acquired by Apollo Tyres Ltd. ("Apollo Tyres") in 1995. This facility began commercial production in September 1962 and currently the plant is leased out to ApolloTyres on long term basis. All production is done by Apollo Tyres.
PTL has paid up capital of Rs. 13,23,77,000 and is listed on National Stock Exchange Ltd. and BSE Ltd.
